Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy

The security deposit, to be provided on arrival, is €300.

A credit card imprint will be taken on arrival and will serve as a security deposit.

The tenant must return the apartment in perfect cleanliness, failing which the amount indicated in the house rules will be retained. If restoration costs are higher, the tenant undertakes to pay the balance.

TENANT OBLIGATIONS:

Take the premises as they are on the day of entry into enjoyment; occupy them only as a temporary leisure residence, excluding any commercial or professional activity; do nothing that could disturb the peace of the neighbourhood.

Occupy the premises personally; subletting is prohibited; do not bring any pet without the landlord’s agreement.

Allow urgent works or daily SPA maintenance to be carried out on the premises.

Furniture and furnishings must only suffer depreciation arising from normal use... Missing or damaged items must be paid for.

The tenant shall not bring other furniture or heating appliances into the premises.

Where applicable, the value of broken or cracked items and the cost of washing or cleaning stained carpets, blankets, mattresses, bedding, etc. will be retained.

Make no modification or change to the arrangement of the furniture or the premises.

Maintain the rented premises and return them in perfect cleanliness at the end of the stay.

SPA USE

The SPA is accessible throughout the stay in accordance with the general conditions displayed on site.

Failure to comply with the general conditions will lead to recovery of restoration costs with no limit on the amount.

ANOMALY:

On arrival, please check any anomaly found; it must be reported within 24 hours.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:

The security deposit is paid to cover damage that may be caused to furniture or other fittings in the rented premises.

This deposit will be taken by bank card imprint on your arrival.

From this deposit will be deducted the cost of replaced items and any restoration or additional cleaning costs.

If this deposit proves insufficient, the tenant undertakes to pay the balance.

ARRIVAL ARRANGEMENTS:

Arrival time is from 4 pm.

DEPARTURE ARRANGEMENTS:

Departure is expected before 10 am.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the arrival date is 14 days or more away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before the arrival date.

No refund for cancellations made within the 7 days preceding the arrival date.

A €300 bank card imprint will be required when keys are handed over, or the following day if we cannot be present on arrival.

Arrival is expected after 4 pm and departure before 10 am.

The deposit will not be charged and will be released to guests within 24 hours after the end of the rental, subject to no unpaid amounts and no damage to the accommodation, jacuzzi and furniture; an email will be sent with the bank imprint closure receipt.

The tourist tax is collected and remitted to the community of communes; it is paid at the time of booking.

In the event of early departure, no reduction of the rental price will be granted.

Cleaning is included in your rental.

This service includes cleaning of all floors (vacuum + mopping), upkeep of bathrooms, toilets and sinks, cleaning of kitchen cupboards, and window cleaning. This service does not exclude the stains detailed below.

What is required of the Tenant:

• Clean the kitchen appliances (fridge, oven, microwave, coffee machine...),
• Wash and put away the dishes,
• Empty the dishwasher,
• Place bed linen at the foot of your bed
• Empty all bins. Take household and recycling bags to the containers in Crots (at the village entrance or towards Boscodon Abbey).

Clean the barbecue and outdoor ashtray. If dirt is found, the security deposit may be used.

The “Le Méale” and “L’Orel” gîtes have a maximum capacity of 3 people.

The “Chabrières” gîte has a maximum capacity of 4 people.

This number may under no circumstances be exceeded without the Owner’s prior agreement.

Any subletting is prohibited.

The Tenant must respect the peaceful character of the premises (no parties allowed) and use them in accordance with their purpose. Smoking indoors is prohibited. No commercial photography and/or filming is allowed.

The Tenant undertakes to return the premises as found and to bear financially any damage for which they may be responsible.

Bed and bath linen, a cleaning kit and tea towels are provided.

Pets are not accepted

Out of respect for neighbours, noise is strictly prohibited after 10 pm and before 7 am

Access to and use of the relaxation area is strictly reserved for managers and gîte tenants.

Access to the wellness area is forbidden to persons who are intoxicated, clearly unclean, or suffering from a contagious disease.

Decent swimwear required and proper behaviour expected.

Forbidden in the spa: all other clothing (t-shirts, undershorts, boxer shorts, bermudas and any similar attire), nudity, use of soaps, oils and bath salts.

It is not advisable to bathe with valuables. Cosy Alpes declines all responsibility in the event of physical or material damage, loss, theft or alteration.

Inside the private relaxation area the following are forbidden: cigarettes, chewing gum.

The relaxation area is unsupervised; the spa is forbidden to children under 6. Minors remain under parental responsibility.

The SPA is intended for 1 to 4 people MAXIMUM

For safety (drowning...) and insulation, the thermal cover must be put back after each use.

We use a bromine treatment. Access is via the steps.

You use it at your own risk: in case of equipment damage or use of soap, oils or bath salts in the SPA, repair costs will be charged to users.

Showering before and after SPA use is mandatory; long hair must be tied back. Sunscreen creams and oils are strictly forbidden in the SPA.

Drowning risk: heat increases the effects of medication and alcohol and can cause loss of consciousness. Get out immediately if you feel tired or drowsy

WARNING: Heat-induced vasodilation accelerates heart rate and is dangerous for people with cardiovascular disease (leave the sauna immediately at the first sign of discomfort).

Deposit deduction scale for any damage or inconvenience during the stay:

• *Very dirty gîte — cleaning hourly rate €40
• *Very dirty jacuzzi — cleaning hourly rate €40
• *1 broken glass €2
